Terms of participation:

I agree to the unlimited use and publication of the image material submitted by me for participation in the gamescom cosplay contest and confirm that I own the rights to the image I have submitted.
I confirm that I am at least 18 years old at the time of the gamescom cosplay contest 2024.
The costume must be largely (approx. 80 %) my own work. A compilation of third-party work is not permitted.
Costumes / cosplays with paid partnerships or co-operations will not be admitted.
The application can only be accepted on presentation of the following media:

At least one reference image of the original character. The reference image must show the costume or character in its entirety, preferably from different perspectives.
At least one picture of your cosplay. This should show as much of your work as possible!
A 1-minute performance music in MP3 format. Longer versions will be shortened, and it is not possible to resend the music. Participants without their own music will receive accompanying music from gamescom.

Paid advertising on social media platforms will lead to disqualification in the "Fan Favorite Online" category.
The costume must not have previously taken part in a gamescom contest.
Registration deadline is set to Monday, 05. August 2024 11:59 p.m. CET
